Bellhop Cafe & Bar

In the Historic Downtown Orlando Angebilt Hotel, Bellhop was inspired by a Roaring 20’s Era Hotel Lobby. During an era of luxurious travel, in the early 1900’s,

inspired by the Art Deco movement, this concept reflects the intimacy of the luxury hotel lobbies, the exceptional service of the times and specifically the special welcome of the cordial Bellhops.

As travelers enter this fabulous space, after admiring the opulent foyer with antique sparkling chandeliers, they are greeted by a main Concierge counter desk as a reception to our lounge.  The lounge invites guests to enjoy the comfort of private seating areas, with exquisitely crafted cocktails and beverages, and also have a mile high experience in the VIP lounge.

It is a flirtatious space, with great furniture for lounging, special hotel inspired feature elements, produced in intricate and modern ways, and a feel for the old Hollywood glamour.

Bandbox Mocktail Bar

A Bandbox is defined from the 17th century as follows; the word band was sometimes used for ruffs, the large round collars of pleated muslin or linen worn by men and women of the time period, and the bandbox was invented for holding such bands. It has been used in the past to hold guardments neatly and clean. Today, “bandbox” can also be used as an adjective meaning “exquisitely neat, clean, or ordered”

The New Bandbox will be a place where special things are kept, where guests will be able to discover many exquisite and special items hidden in this box, as well as new experiences, and even themselves. It is a place of discovery, which transports you into the Art Deco Era of the 20’s and is a reflection on one’s true self with unaltered personality. The fabulous mocktails, design, art, accessories and good times will be all the guests need, to be themselves, enjoy the experience and truly make unforgettable memories.

Bliss Glamping

“THE ANCIENTS BELIEVED THE WORLD TO BE COMPOSED OF 4 BASIC ELEMENTS - FIRE, WATER, AIR, AND EARTH. THESE WERE CONSIDERED THE CRITICAL ENERGY FORCES THAT SUSTAINED LIFE. ALL OF THESE ELEMENTS ARE INTEGRAL PART OF MATTER OR THE PHYSICAL UNIVERSE, AND THE HUMAN BODY IS A PHYSICAL CREATION EXISTING IN THE MATERIAL REALM. THEREFORE, THE HUMAN BEINGS WERE SEEM TO BE MADE OF AND GOVERN BY THE FOUR ELEMENTS. MAINTAINING A BALANCE BETWEEN THESE ELEMENTS WAS ADVOCATED TO ENSURE PHYSICAL AS WELL AS PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING.”

Inspired by the timeless 4 Elements—Air, Water, Fire, and Earth—KAP Studio thoughtfully designed each of the glamping domes around the distinct theme and colors of these elements. This approach aims to offer guests a unique and memorable experience during their stays at Bliss, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in a world deeply influenced by the beauty of true nature and the essence of creation.

KAP Studio drew inspiration from the stunning Anza-Borrego Desert State Park to thoughtfully enhance the overall architectural design of the rooftop. We incorporated carefully selected Mexican and Spanish elements along with vibrant color palettes throughout the space and outdoor areas. These design choices create a cohesive connection to the restaurant’s culinary offerings and lively cocktail menu. Ambassadors of the Environment Learning Center

“Guests of all ages are introduced to the natural beauty and cultural traditions of Hawaii with Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ambassadors of the Environment program. Through guided, family-friendly excursions, Maui becomes a living classroom where adults and children learn about the environment and leave with an appreciation and respect for nature.”

KAP Studio drew inspiration from Mr. Jean-Michel Cousteau and Hawaiian cultural advisors to create a thoughtfully designed learning center. In this space, furniture and materials are carefully chosen to be earth friendly and sustainable. The color palette and patterns on the wallcoverings reflect calming ocean hues and incorporate detailed sea-life images. The overall exciting and inviting vibe in the space encourages curiosity and fosters a strong interest in learning about the local culture and environment, while promoting the importance of protecting nature for future generations.

Grotto Pool Bar

The Grotto Bar at Grand Wailea in Maui was carefully inspired by the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Hawaiian National Parks and caves. Here, guests encounter ancient Hawaiian artifacts, an array of sea shells, and an assortment of beautiful flowers and plants native to the region. Our team worked carefully to bring all of these elements together into a unique hidden pool bar, constructed predominantly from intricate rockwork. This setting is further enhanced by detailed oriented decorative features, accessories, natural materials, lush foliage, and atmospheric lighting that create an inviting ambiance. Visitors can relax and enjoy their favorite cocktails while watching popular events on the bar's screens, or simply continue to soak in the tranquil environment of the Grotto, all while remaining comfortably in the water.

Serea Restaurant

Come join us along the San Diego coast at Hotel Del Coronado and let Serea transport you back to the Greek Island of Mykonos with it’s inspired coastal cruising. Serea means siren or mermaid, a mythological woman with a fish’s tale. Siren stems from the ancient Greek “Seiren.” A siren’s singing was said to be irresistible.

Furniture and fabrics were inspired by motifs found on a mermaid’s tail along with subtle nods of the Greek islands, such as: color contrast of fishermen’s boats; fishing nets; weathered ropes; colorful, hand painted tiles; large, uneven pavements; striking sunsets; blooming trees with flowers; and stacked townscapes set the scene of a Mediterranean inspired meal in which you are about to indulge.

Walter’s Tavern Restaurant & Bar

KAP Studio worked with the Dr. Phillips Charities to create the Interior Design for Walter’s Tavern.

Walter Phillips, one of the sons of Dr. Phillips, is the inspiration behind this unique concept. He was a solitary man, deeply passionate about the vast Orange Groves in the Central Florida area that his family owned, and he dedicated much of his life to nature, hunting, flying his plane, and caring for the oranges. Walter loved solitude and chose not to have a family of his own. He intentionally secluded himself from the outside world, living quietly in his house nestled in the middle of the orange groves. Several significant elements within the space reflect his distinct lifestyle and personality. There is a one-of-a-kind wing chair positioned in a corner, meant specifically for him. A wall adorned with blank, empty black frames symbolizes the absence of family photos, highlighting his solitary nature. Barrel tables incorporate shotguns as a respectful nod to his passion for hunting. Photos of Walter with his plane and numerous other design Easter eggs are tastefully integrated throughout the space in his honor. Altogether, these details come together to create a fun and inviting tavern atmosphere where guests can enjoy the dimly lit environment, accented by dark hues and a strong masculine feel, all complemented by a typical Florida flair.
